Filter is cleaned by first brushing off any large embedded dirt. Then spray on the K&N cleaner and let it soak for 10 minutes. Next, Rinse off the element with LOW pressure water (Always flush from the clean side to the dirty side). Then allow filter to dry NATURALLY. After filter has dried re-oil with K&N air filter oil only. Apply evenly to entire filter making sure to oil down into each pleat. Then re-install making sure the element seats properly in the filter case.

The price is right and so is the product. This is exactly what K&N reccomends for the maintenance of your air filter. My order came in about 5 days and my filter was cleaned and like new that same day. The kit is a necessity and will clean/oil your filter about 3 times. PerformanceCenter.com was the cheapest place of all the other websites and forget AutoZone. I think AZ had it for almost $25. PC.com had it for like $10 or something.

I have used K&N filters on my cars and motorcycles for years with no problems. Given normal use one filter charger kit should clean and re-oil an average size filter several times. I purchase one every one to two years. Quite a bargain.

Transaction went very well! I know K&N would void the warranty on their filters but someone should come out with a comparable aftermarket replacement for this item. They are a rip-off, but that is K&N not the supplier. Again...fast turnaround...good ship!
