Description
Hellwig Anti-Sway Bars are an easy, affordable way to upgrade your Truck, RV, SUV, or Musclecar's handling performance! Anti-Sway bars reduce body-roll with their torsional design. They transfer the pressure on the outboard wheels and apply opposite pressure on the inboard wheels. As a result, weight is more evenly distributed to all four wheels, thereby helping your vehicle stay more level with the road and giving you better overall control. Each Hellwig Anti-Sway bar is manufactured from High-Quality Hot Formed & Heat Treated 4140 Chrome Moly Spring Steel and is covered by a Lifetime Warranty!

I ordered the sway bar and a set of airlift air bags for a one ton Chevrolet Class C Motorhome. The u-bolts did not fit, so I called the manufacturer for advice and they told me they dont make a sway bar for the one ton. They only make the bar for 1/2 and 3/4 ton van chassis. They said it would not be covered by the warrenty if I installed it on a one ton. I decided to go ahead and install it anyway as the fit was very close. I obtained two properly sized u-bolts from our local spring shop and proceeded to install it. Because of the much larger differential (wider) It does not line up perfectly. The arms are not perfectly verticasl under the frame, but it is a very slight angle and does not appear to be a problem. After driving the motorhome (one trip so far) I am happy with the improvement in handling. If I were to make new saddles for the rear axel I could get perfect alignment, but I do not believe it would be worth the work involved. My only complaint is that it was listed as fitting a one ton on your web site.
